Woven from West Texas cotton and organically grown Foxfibre® Coyote Brown, this undyed cotton duvet cover is simple and naturally beautiful. The soft brown color comes straight from the cotton plant. No dyes, no bleach, nothing added.

Made of 100% USA-grown cotton, including 45% organic colorgrown cotton. The blend reflects a temporary shortage of domestic organic cotton at the time of production.

A breathable and sustainable cotton duvet cover, grown, woven, and sewn in the USA.

This item retails for $419 for the full or queen set and $479 for the king set on American Blossom Linen’s website.

materials

100% USA grown cotton (45% organic Foxfibre® Coyote Brown)

The color of the fabric comes from the cotton plant itself, not from dye, so it holds up beautifully in the wash. Over time, it may soften or deepen slightly, which is part of what makes colorgrown cotton so special.

product dimensions

The thoughtful design of these duvet covers includes ties in all four corners, a full-width opening with an internal 15” envelope closure instead of clunky buttons or zippers, & 7" hand pull openings for super easy insertion. The envelope closure goes at the top of the bed.

Pillow shams have a 2” hem and an envelope closure with a 6” overlap.

minor mishaps

We are on a mission to eliminate textile waste so we only sell perfectly functional, sustainably made textile products made with minor, cosmetic imperfections.

The types of imperfections you may find include:

Slubs: These are part of the weaving process, they look like wide raised threads, they can resemble bumps

Small stains: These are from machines used to weave and/or finish the fabric

Colored Lines: These are other color threads that have accidentally been woven into the fabric

Imperfect Stitching: Sometimes the sewing machines or makers using them make imperfect stitches

caring for plant dyes

Machine or hand wash cold. Hang dry or tumble try on the lowest setting. Plant based dyes fade faster in direct sunlight, so be sure to find a shady spot for them. Consider washing your pieces on their own for the first time to avoid plant dyeing your other clothes.

what's in the price?

We get that these products might be more expensive than the typical item you'd buy. That's why we want to be super transparent about what's going into them. Our pricing takes into account fair wages for makers across a 100% USA supply chain and the best locally grown, organic cotton and dye materials. Looking towards the future, we're committed to making sustainable goods accessible to everyone.
